Last week Sunday my husband, Kris, and I took a trip to Greenville for a family session. However, this was a little different than your typical family session. My coworker Jessica approached me about doing her extended families photos, it was her Grandma’s 80th birthday so the family wanted to surprise her with family photos.
The family was getting together at Jessica’s parents house on a lake near Greenville, and Kris and I were invited up there while everyone was arriving. We ended up spending the whole afternoon there, They were so willing to accept us into the family. Kris watched football with the boys while I talked with the girls and they even invited us to eat lunch with them. It was great because I was able to get great shots of the family hanging out by the lake as well as great family photos.
This family session was such a blessing and I am so thankful to have been able to spend so much time with the Corcoran Family. It felt so great to be welcomed into the family and be able to spend time with them with such ease. I was more than just a photographer during this family session, I felt like family.
