Marcy

I met up with Marcy and her Mom a few weeks ago at GR Studio space for her newborn session. This was the first time I did a newborn session in a studio before and it was a lot of fun! Typically I will do my newborn sessions in the comfort of your own home so that you don’t have to travel anywhere, however sometimes that just doesn’t work out and the studio is such a great option as well that I now have as an option!

It was so fun to play around with some different textures and blankets than what I typically use as well. I have a lot of baskets and blankets that I own, but it was great to be able to use something a little bit different by using items that were at the studio.

Working with newborns can be so challenging but so very rewarding all at the same time. It requires a lot of patience and hope that yes, they will eventually go to sleep, but when they do it is simply magic! My newborn style is more relaxed and simple. I don’t do a lot of crazy poses but I am just a huge fan of their natural sweetness. This session is a great representation of that style and I am so excited to share it with you!
