Kyle & Sami :: Married!

Kyle & Sami’s wedding day was simply amazing! There were some pretty severe storms threatening the area and they made the decision to move their ceremony under the canopy at Johnson Park just in case, but we were so lucky to not have to deal with any rain or storms through out the whole day. I met up with Sami at her friends house where she was getting ready with two of her close friends. Then we met up with Kyle at Johnson Park to do their first look! What I loved about this day was how relaxed it was. It was just the two of them and no bridal party so when we were doing their bridal portraits we were able to just focus on the two of them.

With a more relaxed, open house style reception we were also able to sneak out a couple of times to do photos as well. One of those times were worked with smoke bombs, which was so incredible. We used smoke bombs for their engagement photos so I thought it would be really fun to use them again for their wedding and I am so happy they agreed! A huge shout out and thank you goes to Sami’s friends who really helped out by running around with the smoke bombs.

Another special part of the day was that Sami wore her Mom’s boots during the ceremony and also had a beautiful tribute for her Mom set up at the front of the ceremony. I know her Mom was very special to her and it was hard not having her here on this earth for her wedding day, but I know she was looking down on the day with a huge smile on her face.

This day was amazing and I am so very excited to share it with you!
