I am pretty excited to share this blog post with you all! I had such a blast shooting Kevin & Amy’s wedding day and reception. A quick run down of the incredible vendors that help make their day wonderful:

A small intimate Wedding Ceremony for just close family was held at Harbor View Inn on Mackinac Island on July 30

I have been trying to put into words how much fun shooting Amy & Kevin’s wedding day was but I am struggling to find the right words to say. I really enjoyed spending time on Mackinac Island and it was so fun to be able to celebrate with them all over again a few days later for their reception. There were so many gorgeous details at the reception and I am a sucker for chandeliers in a old barn! It was incredible. Not only were all of the details fun to capture, what really made the days special was being able to spend time with Amy & Kevin and witness how much fun they have together. It was truly a blessing and so much fun.

Another special moment at their reception that I was thankful to be able to capture was the balloon release in memory of her brother with Amy’s family before the reception started. Her older brother was killed in a car accident by a drunk driver several years ago, and since he could only be there in spirit Amy wanted to do something special to remember him by and so he could still be a part of such a special day in his sisters life. It was such a gorgeous moment to be able to capture.

I want to wish many blessings to Amy & Kevin as they begin their lives as husband and wife! I hope these photos are able to say what I can’t in words. Please enjoy this preview!
