Kenton & Nikki were married on one of the most beautiful September days. There was a perfect crispness of fall in the air and the whole day was filled with electricity & excitement! I have known Nikki for as long as I can remember because I grew up being best friends with her older sister. So to be able to photography this important day has meant so much to me! It was such a joy to be there through out the day from when the final touches were being done with hair and make up through all the fun dancing at the reception. What made the reception extra fun for me was that my husband was there as the DJ!
It was also fun to capture a new little family officially. Kenton has a son and the love that Nikki has for him is so adorable. Look through this blog post for several moments where he is giving her a hug. It just melts my heart to be able to capture those moments. Those are the moments that matter. As fun as it can be to shoot all the little details like the rings and the dress, its those hugs and those moments that are the most fun for me to photograph.
