Kallie Kay Michele Gruppen was born on April 18 in the morning! My dear friends Joe & Kristen have been praying for this day for so long and it was such an honor to be able to document these moments for them. I arrived at the hospital after she was born so I could meet her and of course I brought my camera along so I could document a few Fresh 48 session type photos of her. Those moments that are documented at the Hospital are just simply incredible. To be able to watch Grandparents love on their new grandchild that first day of their life and see the parents just stare at their new baby with so much love in their eyes is so beautiful.

I was also able to document a more traditional newborn session in their home as well. They have incredible natural light flowing into Kallie’s nursery which made for the perfect spot. She is just the sweetest thing and I loved being able to spend time with my friends in their home while also documenting these memories for them. Newborns grow so fast!

I feel like a broken record with how much I say this over and over again but documenting these moments is just so special. Spending time with these little lives and watching the way their parents love on them is the most beautiful thing. I absolutely love what I do and I am so excited to share a few favorites with you.
