Derek & Jessica were married on a beautiful October day at Lakeshore Golf & Conference Center. October weddings have very quickly become a favorite of mine. The gorgeous fall color just can’t be beat! And then when there is a beautiful sunset on top of that, just stunning. I am so thankful we made time to go out right before sunset to capture that perfect golden hour light. Completely worth it every single time.
Derek & Jessica’s wedding day was a day filled with a lot of love, incredible fall color, a ton of laughter (one of my best bridal parties, kept me laughing through out the day!), so much dancing, and a surprise Mickey Mouse dance! (Just wait until you see the images of that!) I also could not take my eyes off of all the adorable kids that were on the dance floor. So incredibly adorable and sweet. Then add some glow sticks in to the mix and you have one grand party!

It was such an honor to be able to capture Derek & Jessica’s wedding day. They had such a great bridal party and the food was incredible. I had great conversation with the other guests sitting at my table, which is always fun. I really enjoy being able to meet new people.
