Dan & Annie were married on a cloudy, breezy September day in a gorgeous catholic church along the shore in South Haven with a reception following at the Ravines Golf Club in Saugatuck. Annie spent a lot of time in the summer in South Haven growing up and I loved how they incorporated the city & the state of Michigan into so many details. Adorable little Michigan chocolates, cute little beach chairs that held the name tags, a wave detail on the name tags, and the invitations had the perfect touch of South Haven.
What I loved most about this wedding though was how incredibly kind Dan & Annie were. Even though I didn’t get a chance to meet them in person before their wedding because they lived in Illinois, it felt like I had been friends with them for years. Spending the day with them, capturing their wedding day as it unfolded before us was simply perfection. I worked with them beforehand to create the timeline they wanted for their day, which included a stop to spend some time at Guardian Brewing Company, and it was so much fun. It’s so important to make time to just enjoy your wedding day, and I am so thankful that Dan & Annie did just that.
After hanging out at Guardian Brewing Company, the party continued at the Ravines Golf Club for their reception. This venue is so beautiful! I love the cottage feel and how everyone can come & surround you on the dance floor during your first dance. There were so many delicious treats, pretty table scapes, a packed dance floor, and one heck of a party. I could go on and on about how much I loved this wedding, how incredible Dan & Annie were, how amazing their friends & family were to hang out with, and everything I loved about the details but I will just let the photos do the rest of the talking.
