The star of this blog post is a little sweetie named Callen James Dick. He is a handsome little man with a full head of hair and adorable blue eyes. Callen was born a month ago to my friends, Nate & Chelsi, and I am so thankful that they chose me to be able to capture this moment in their sons life!

My passion for photography is being able to capture moments in time. Life happens so incredibly fast and the reason I love photography so much is to be able to freeze  time. As life seems to slip through our fingers, its a blessing to be able to create a piece of art that is also a moment in your life. I love the new people I am able to meet while doing this, but it is even more special to be able to capture these moments in my friends lives.

Last Sunday I met Nate & Chelsi at Nate’s parents house because they had a nice big window slider that let in plenty of light for me to be able to do Callen’s photos inside. Along with photos of just Callen, I was able to capture just a few shots of him with Nate & Chelsi as well as a few shots with Nate’s whole family as well! What a blessing family is. Unfortunately the temperature outside was incredibly cold, so we weren’t able to capture as many family shots as I would have liked but those will just have to wait til Callen is a little bit older :)
