Last week I had the opportunity to work with 5 other fantastic photographers. In an effort to network and collaborate, we created a bohemian themed photo shoot to all work together and learn from one another. Each person was responsible for a different aspect of the shoot, things like the cake, finding models, attire, and props. For this photo shoot I was responsible for acquiring wedding attire, and Septembers Bride was gracious enough to let us use a few of their wedding dresses!

The location for the shoot was at one of the photographers cabin in the woods in Newaygo. It was such a beautiful spot! When we arrived the weather was a little less than perfect. It was cold and it was raining on and off, but thankfully when it was time to get the photo shoot started the rain held off and we were even blessed with a little bit of sunshine at the end!

It was so much fun to spend some time with fellow photographers that share the same passion as I do. I love seeing how other people work and how their creativity shows. We had three different “stages” set up in the woods, and what we did was had 2 photographers at each spot and then just rotated to a different spot every 30 minutes. We also switched partners half way through so we got an opportunity to work with someone else as well.
