I met with Ben & Jessica for their engagement session at Riley Trails, one of my favorite places to go. Since we didn’t have any pretty snow that had recently fall, I knew that Riley Trails would be the perfect spot. Ben & Jessica drove all the way up from Indiana to come work with me and I am just so incredibly honored by that.

Let me tell you a little bit about Ben & Jessica and a few things I learned about them while we were talking around Riley Trails and Downtown Holland. They met a couple years ago at a game night friends of theirs were having. This game night was held specifically so that they could be set up. One of the first things that he noticed about her was the combat boots she was wearing. He thought they were super cool & he thought she was pretty bad ass. One of the first things that she noticed about him though was that he didn’t sit in the chair next to her like was planned for this set up and ended up sitting in the wrong spot. Apparently all worked out despite that, because here we are today!

I also talked to them a little bit about what they love about the other person. Ben’s response was that he loves the various expressions Jessica makes. Especially the way her voice gets when she is really excited about something. I asked him to try to do an impression of it, and it was quite good haha. What Jessica loves about Ben is the way that he makes her laugh. Which was very apparent right from the get go during our session. We had so much fun just laughing together. Those are the types of moments I hope they are able to cherish forever. Looking through these images and just seeing how much fun they have together.

This engagement session was so much fun and I am so thankful they braved the cooler temps and the drive to come & hang out with me! I am so looking forward to their August wedding at Millcreek Wilde Barn in Watervliet, MI.
